Mornings I wake up and I will eat whatever I can as long as it is fast and there. However, this can be the start to poor decisions that can haunt you the rest of the day. For 2019 I am looking at my food more as medicine than as a treat but I still want to enjoy eating and be healthy. So I wanted to share this meal I have hacked to fill me up and keep be going using some ingredients you have probably been seeing everywhere turmeric, MCT oil, and chia seeds. I thought It would be fun to throw them all together heat them up and see what happens and the outcome was pretty good so I had to share. After the 3rd day of eating this way (and I will share more) my migraines really lessened and I have a feeling the more I cut back on certain things the more they will lessen.
Now, so you know what you are eating…..
Turmeric is all the rage right now. All the hipsters and health food blogs can’t get enough of it and with good reason for all, it’s natural healing abilities and anti-inflammatory properties. So it’s a great way to start your day with this little health food bomb I like to think of it as but I also like to think of this meal as my base to start the day out right for managing my pain from my lupus and fibromyalgia but also so I can function and perform as a creative entrepreneur.
MCT oil is gaining popularity now because it is part of the KETO diet and it posses magical properties that make you skinner and smarter. Which I am not going to lie is why I was first interested in it but MCT oil is scientifically proven to lower blood sugar and give you more energy. Now being diabetic I like the lower blood sugar and I could always use more energy so let’s go with adding MCT oil in everything!
Chia Seeds you have probably heard of. I love them because they are loaded with antioxidants and they really fill you up but they have a low-calorie count. Now I am always hungry like always so I love them because they fill me up and keep me filled up for a long time.
