This is Yin and Sisi and their beautiful wedding shot in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
I knew it was going to be a beautiful day for a wedding…and I was not disappointed!
The beautiful bride, Sisi, and her attendants, Tianyi, Kitty, and Chenchen, enjoyed some quiet time before the wedding as they helped her get ready for her big day!
And of course…the bride is perfectly elegant in her Victor Harper dress…
…the beadwork is spectacular!!
How about these shoes? To die for…right?
Beautiful jewelry for a beautiful bride!

It’s not a wedding without rings, am I right? His and hers…so lovely.
Here’s the bride with her amazing bouquet.

Yin had his first look at his lovely bride on the beach below the resort.

Such a beautiful couple!
Sisi even managed to get her feet wet in the cold Pacific waters.
Yin and Sisi’s wedding at the Carmel Highlands was everything that the bride imaged it would be! The views of the rugged cliffs and ocean were reminiscent of family trips down the California coast as a child. The weather was perfect; you can see the sun was just about to set over the Pacific.
Sisi’s former piano teacher, Ellen, delivered a beautiful and heart-warming ceremony. This was special for Sisi since Ellen had played such an integral role in her teen years.
Yin and Sisi exchanged personal vows they had written each other.
All their guests were brought to tears!

Sisi and the bridal party, such a beautiful place for a wedding!
Yin and Sisi were in the same class at MIT but didn’t meet until three years after graduation when they both attended the Pi Reunion in Las Vegas. They had their first date in the wee hours of the night! It’s only fitting that this was seen with one of the beautiful centerpieces!
I just loved the merengue mushrooms! It adds such a whimsical touch to this earthy, organic wedding! The centerpieces followed Sisi’s earthy theme with their muted pink, peach, and mint colors.
The wedding reception was held onsite at the Fireside Lounge at the Hyatt. Sisi was pleased that the menu was all sustainably sourced, and worked hard to see that many other elements of her wedding were as sustainable as possible. The evening’s atmosphere was perfect!
Sisi had plenty of DIY elements to her wedding with the biggest payoff being the favor bar for her guests. Each guest was given a small jar at their seats…they were able to fill the jars with edible treats…rose-scented tea, butter mints, and white chocolate pearls.
Congratulations Sisi and Yin! Such a beautiful wedding…thank you for letting me be a part of it! Also, a big thank you to the other vendors that made this day absolutely perfect:
