"I have these pictures and I keep these photographs To remind me of a time These pictures and these photographs Let me know I'm doinfine" Willie Nealson

From a young age I loved design, art and color.  I wanted to be an artist but, because my drawing ability never really progressed past stick figures, I quickly decided to pursue another career.  I grew up with horses and decided to become a horse trainer. I love animals and loved helping people work with them. It was so rewarding to see my clients feeling happy, confident and safe with the horses they rode. Though I was happy with my horses, after my son was born, my perspective changed. The thought of falling off a horse and leaving my son motherless crossed my mind a few too many times. I decided it was time to begin a new career. Being a single mother, I often felt overwhelmed with the task of remembering each of my son’s milestones. I decided to buy a really nice camera to capture these special moments in all their beauty.  I found my passion  for design, color and art had not faded. I discovered I love to take photos and have not stopped taking them since!

Over the years I have shot hundreds of weddings, styled photos, family portraits, boudoir sessions and senior photos. I believe my role as a photographer is to bring forth the natural, unique beauty of each person I shoot. I believe photography should be fun and effortless.  It should not feel like a trip to the dentist.  Above all, I want to make sure my clients feel relaxed and happy during their sessions.  I provide loose direction while shooting and capture those special moments when the true personality of the client shines. Ultimately, I want my clients to feel like they are playing dress-up, hanging out with best friends or having cherished family moments – just be yourself and I will take care of the rest!  I promise you will walk away with photos you will want to pass down for generations to come.
